A SOLAR ECLIPSE STORY.
There’s something about when the world turns dark for even just 10 minutes, only to be restored with sunlight.
It makes you think how lucky we are to experience such a rare occurrence in the world as a collective experience – once in a lifetime, you might say.
It made me think how small, vulnerable, and precious this little world is in the broader universe, and what’s at stake if humanity ever loses its way.
It’s almost like the eclipse today was the universe’s way of telling us that humanity is in a period of renewal. During COVID, we all know a lot of people experienced fundamental changes in their lives – at this point that is no secret.
But early on in those years, I began to ask myself and ponder things like – maybe all this was happening for a reason. What if it was? Or what if this was the universe’s way of “rebooting” the timeline – as in our own timeline. Our history, our past, present and future.
A lot of people around me echoed similar beliefs as the years went on. There was a light at the end of the tunnel – they’d always say.
What if today was that light – however symbolic that may sound. Or, at very best a message from our universe telling us we are going to be ok? I still see the light coming out of the darkness towards the end of today’s cosmic event., like a new sunrise, and think to myself – if there’s one thing I want to hit restart on, now the time to do it.
Our world needed cleansing in many ways. Do you think the solar eclipse happened when we most needed it to? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
